late night blues//randomnesses
So, it's 2:30 am on my hemisphere, and I spent a portion the wee hours of the morning downloading TVXQ's Mirotic single. Gakk. After I swore them off when one of my friends was totally obsessed with them and was trying to get me into the picture. So far, I've only liked three songs (Bolero, Mirotic, and The Song with the Very Long Japanese Title). The music's also some form of sustenance when we head off to some memorial later. Dang, and I could be using that time to write my Filipino Psychology paper (say what?!). Speaking of the Psych paper, I'm doing it on the torpe concept. It doesn't interest me much (why ma'am, why??), but there are some things about it that I would like to find out. Like why torpe? It sounds so much like torta. Why do guys become torpe when the Philippines is a society based on masculine principles of power? And why do girls say they hate torpe guys? I'm trying to get into walking these days. Can't do jogging cause I have no running shoes. It's a perfect way of moving around, and getting lost in my cellphone's music. I really want to draw more than anything. By "drawing", I mean producing a piece of art that's actually acceptable by web standards, not the random doodles I draw on the margins of my readings. I can't really produce proper concepts right now, cause my mind is wrapped around the Wonderland story. If only the characters would actually form themselves on my head already so I can put them on paper. But I think I'll probably submit something later. It's kind of an acceptable drawing. Major reason why I can't draw as much as I would want to: my subjects are eating up everything I own. My blood, my soul, my brain cells, my future spawn. I've never had to work this hard in a semester before cause I always depended on my lucky streak (like, not reading for a subject, but not getting called on to recite). Unfortunately, luck has suddenly taken a leave of absence and has left me to fend for myself against teachers calling on random clueless students, and reading piled up high as my chair (I'm not joking on this part). What did I point out in typing this long entry? That I am wasting time till I get to my self-imposed study period. Oh, the desperate-ness of me.
